The Players and Director

Most of the people involved in No Fixed Abode have experience of homelessness or living on the edge of society for a variety of reasons. Their stories were used as the basis for some of the scenes in the production.

Terry O'Leary, Director
Terry is associate artist with Cardboard Citizens. She is one of the most experienced Forum Theatre jokers in the world, having been involved with the company for 13 years - ever since encountering them at a hostel in East London.

She is a guest lecturer at Central School of Speech and Drama and is an experienced Theatre of the Oppressed consultant. She recently worked with Formaat Theatre In Rotterdam, advising them on the development of their homeless people's threat project Dunk. She currently leads Cardboard Citizens work with socially excluded young people in schools and with refugees.

Ruby Wild, Actor, & Mentor
Ruby is part of the creative team with Cardboard Citizens. She has a passion for theatre for social change, and strongly believes in the powerful process of Forum Theatre, and its ability to change opinions and lives.


Michael Oladeji, Actor & Mentor
Another member of Cardboard Citizens' creative team, Michael has been involved with the company since the pilot of its youth project Act Now. After graduating from the National Youth Theatre's Playing Up programme, he is now take a degree in drama and media studies. He likes to think of himself as 'like a sponge soaking up water'.


Michael 'Spike' Pike, Actor
Spike is a local Corby poet and features regularly in the Word Furnace at The Core. Through this project he hopes to gain a better understanding about how to work with an audience to enable him to be a better performance poet.

Sheldan Foley, Actor
Sheldan is new to the stage but has found the process fun, exciting and very rewarding. It has given her a taste for acting and she now hope to pursue it further at The Core.

Carol Foley, Actor
Carol was born in Corby an lived here until she split up with her partner. She returned to the town in 2010 and worked as a Maths, English and IT tutor. She was recently made redundant is currently searching for work.

Leona Andreana Sontag, Actor
Leona has always ha a passion for acting and has played the central characters in several CATS pantomimens. She has also performed in a production of Evita and previously has been involved in the making of short films. She ends this production with the chorus of "Perfect Day".

Hayley Monaghan, Actor
Hayley has always live in Corby and has taken part in a few productions at The Core. She enjoys acting, feeling it's a great way to express herself and would like to pursue it further. She loves animals and has lots of pets.

Tony Gurney, Actor
Tony   has previously owned his own business and is a man of many skills, including being a qualified gamekeeper. He has managed an import/export pet company and steel fabrication and shop-fitting business. He recently decided to go back to education as a mature student to study religion, psychology and philosophy.

Ross Dykes, Sound Designer and Operator, Actor
Ross is a DJ ad has recently played in Europe as well as regular gigs in the UK. He has operated lighting and sound for school productions and has a keen interest in all aspects of technical theatre.

Chim Gates, Actor & Support
Chim grew up in Corby and went to Lodge Park School. She is a keen actress and has recently moved to London to go to University. She is back in Corby to help with No Fixed Abode.

Graeme 'Grey' Gibson
Grey is a writer, artist and cross-arts facilitator. As the writer behind the No Fixed Abode blog, she had no intention of appearing in the production until she was lured in by Terry. However, she is delighted and feels privileged to be involved in the production, as she is passionate about forum theatre and its positive effects.
